It is both easy to learn and easy to practice.Rooted in Taoist philosophy, where "Tao" represents the natural way or path, Tai Chi embodies principles of harmony and balance. In our fast-paced modern world, these traditional concepts have particular relevance:

  • The practice encourages moving in accordance with natural principles

  • It emphasizes quality of movement over speed or force

  • The focus on present-moment awareness counterbalances modern tendencies toward distraction

  • The practice requires no special equipment and can be adapted to any setting
